Opvokset i den nordlige del af Chelaxia, som arving til et stort mægtigt len.

Efter Arodens fald, ved bliver hans fader og familien, at følge hans lærdom, og er insisterende på at han endag vil vende tilbage. Castelius og hans brødre opdrages til at forsvarer denne tro og rejser chelaxia rundt for at kæmpe i Arodens navn, i alle de turneringer og dyste de kan komme til.

Da asmodeus kirken begynder deres overtagelse af magten i chelaxia, begynder familiens magt at dale, da de udsættes for forskellige ”uheld” både af finasielt og menneskelig karakter.

Gabrielle Levilius, Castelius brud drikker en vin som er tiltænkt Caster og dør efter at have født ham 2 sønner.

Der opstår en konfligt med et nabo legn og familien da, naboen taler for et skift af stats religion til asmodeus. Og gift mordet udløser en væbnet konfligt mellem de 2 parter. Thrune familien vælger at støtte den anden part ved at betale 6 lejesoldat kompanier til at støtte dem, på denne måde tippes den ellers nogen lunde lige magt balance. Levelius slægten lider store tab og må afgive land for at få fred. Ydre mere tvinges familiens ældste datter til at gifte sig ind i thrune slægten og de presser på for at gøre hende til arvtager til grevskabet. Dette lykkedes dog ikke. Efter dette mislykkedes forsøg på overtagelse af slægten, strammer tingene sig an igen. 3 Mord på den gamle greve forsøges, men mislykkedes. Men da Kurinius og Askus, familiens 2 yngste sønner dør i kamp kort tid efter hinanden kan faderens hjerte ikke længer.

På sit dødsleje beder han astor forlade landet sammen med hans sønner, de må forberede Arodens tilbagekomst.. Da han ikke kan se andre muligheder. Det er et meget vanskeligt valg for Castor at forlade sit land, Men overmagten er for stor. Han overbevises dels, af ham selv, men også af hans søster, at dette er den eneste måde han og hans families ære kan bevares. Hans søster overdrages den værtslige magt over lenet, mens han beholder sin titel og retten til at videregive navn og titel til hans sønner. Hun afgiver sin ret som arvtager og bær nu kun navnet Thrune. For man ikke kan skifte arveretten. Han sværger han vil vende tilbage og kræve sin ret når Aroden igen sidder på sin trone.

Castor forlader sit land og bosætter sig i Andoran, hvor hans starter Lejekompagniet ”jernbyrdens broderskab” som han igennem de sidste 30 år har opbygget. Kompagniet har arbejdet i hele det nordlige Golarion og har efterhånden opbygget sig et godt rygte.

Castor har været gift 2 gange siden hans første konen døde, men det hårde liv i kompagniet har krævet ofre.

Castors ældste søn bor i Osirion hvor han venter på sin arv, mens hans yngste søn er sammen med han og fungerer som hans løjtnant.
